PABSTASTIC!!

Our Pabstastic escapade started last weekend when we visited the "Best Place" at the Old Pabst Brewery. The brewery closed it's doors in 1996 and has just recently reopened to give tours of the old facilities. An old town favorite of Milwaukee founded in 1884. This weekend we visited the Light Ideas gallery where they exhibited some of the old treasures they've discovered while excavating the basements of the old brewery...

Torrential Downpour....

"Powerful thunderstorms caused 7 1/2 inches of rain in Milwaukee, widespread flooding, closing down Milwaukee's airport and opening up a giant sink hole. The flooding may not necessarily be over."







Wow! I have never experienced such weather conditions as I did last night! I unfortunately can not take credit for the photos above because I was too busy trying not to be enveloped by water and I left the camera at home. I had to borrow these images from JS JOURNAL, but I chose the ones that pretty much depicted what I was seeing. I hope we never have to experience something like this again. Pretty scary!!

Bastille Days and Summer Fun!

Hello Wisconsin!!

Here is a little taste of our first days in Milwaukee. It is a beautiful city and we are definitely enjoying the summer.

Cross Country!!

We drove ourselves and our animals 30 hours and 2000 miles cross country to our new home in Downtown Milwaukee. Not a lot of time to take pictures, but we managed to take a couple....

Our Impromptu Wedding!

I am so happy! We are still having our big romantic wedding but decided to have a secret civil ceremony before we left CA.

Whirlwind Romance and Big Life Changes!!!

I have been so very absent from blog posts for the past 5 months, but I have a good excuse! 1) Morgan and I got new jobs, drove cross country, got married and decided to move to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What an amazing adventure it has been!! I love life and I am so excited to see what these new changes will bring to the enjoyment and happiness to our life!!!
